  • Objectives
    The MSc in International Management at the University of Sheffield brings together the Management School with our internationally-renowned School of East Asian Studies to provide: High-quality education in international management, with the emphasis on understanding and managing complex multinational firms AND An understanding of the specific challenges, opportunities and styles of business in the different parts of Europe and East Asia. The programme is aimed at those who have studied business or management who wish to give an international dimension to their knowledge and critical appreciation of management principles and practices, and to become managers in multinational companies. It will appeal to those who are interested in starting – or boosting - their career in management and who wish to obtain a strong postgraduate qualification from a leading, research-led University.
  • Entry requirements
    Entry requirements A good second class honours degree or better from a recognised university, or approved professional qualification. Our standard English requirements for overseas students are: IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 6 in each category or TOEFL 617 with 4.5 on the Test of Written English, which must be taken as a separate part of the TOEFL test, or 260 in the computer-based test with 5 in the TWE.

    -Business and Society in East Asia

    Students complete a project/dissertation in the following summer.

    Certificate/Diploma in International Management
    Students who successfully complete the first semester but do not proceed receive the Certificate. Those who pass both semesters´ modules but do not proceed receive the Diploma
