    Normally applicants should have an honours degree or equivalent in a health or social care or leadership/management-related subject. Alternatively, applicants should be able to demonstrate by qualification and/or experience their ability to undertake and complete the course. Applicants who have completed a postgraduate certificate in a related subject can access Year 2 of the course.

    MSc Integrated Service Improvement
    This course provides a flexible framework which allows health and social care professionals to develop the complex set of skills required for leading integrated-service improvement. This includes effective leadership and the ability to respond to policy drivers and service needs.

    Course structure
    Year 1 comprises three modules which make up the PgCert Leadership (Health and Social Care). The modules are Advanced Personal Effectiveness in Leadership, Health and Social Care in Context, and Leading Service Improvement. Year 2 focuses on developing your research skills and includes options in relation to research, partnership working and performance management. Your dissertation in Year 3 includes the option of researching a service-improvement topic or the evaluation of a service-improvement project.
