    -Safe Handling of Industrial Chemicals
    -Applied Hazard and Operability Studies
    -Plant Reliability and Maintainability
    -Hazards in Process Plant Design and Operation
    -Behaviour and Human Error
    -Major Hazards and Emergency Planning
    -Management of Loss Prevention

    Computer Control: Safe Practice

    MSc (Eng):

    Eight modules and a Dissertation

    Teaching
    -lectures,
    -workshops and tutorials
    -industrial placement
    -module tuition contained within individual one-week intensive courses.

    Assessment
    Continuous assessment based on assignments for each module; formal examination of core modules; dissertation.
