    BA (Hons)
  • Course description
Sociology is a hugely compelling and fascinating subject that is quickly becoming increasingly relevant in the contemporary world. By dissecting the organisation and functioning of societies, sociologists can explore social processes to address the problems of late modernity. Throughout your degree you'll become part of this scholarly movement; learning research skills, participating in research and ultimately contributing to that all-important analysis. Most importantly though, you’ll have the distinct advantage of completing a 30-week or 20-day work placement, depending on whether you take the four- or three-year version of the course – giving you a professional skillset and crucial contacts, as well as making you more employable.
