BA Graphic and Brand Design

  • Objectives This degree course is undertaken in conjunction with the School of Creative Enterprise and enables you to combine aspects of graphic design and marketing skills related to the practical and theoretical aspects of identity and branding from conception and design to placement and beyond.
  • Entry requirements You will need one of the following: 2 A level/AVCE plus 3 GCSE passes grades (A-C); an approved Access certificate (48 credits at level 3) or an equivalent career experience recognized through the AP(E)L system

    Programme

    Year 1 Introduces students to design principles, ideas generation and theoretical aspects of  branding  supported by relevant technical skills including IT, photography and moving image

    Year 2 builds upon practical and theoretical skills introduced in year 1 and allows you to explore further aspects of branding through set projects and within a professional context

    Year 3 will emphasise  your own exploration of the subject through self initiated study combined with set projects but with additional emphasis on assisting you in establishing a professional profile.
