BSc Psychology

  • Objectives Psychology at Kingston will give you a grounding in both scientific psychology and humanistic approaches, as well as experience in the practical application of the discipline. This programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as conferring eligibility for graduate membership of the Society with the Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) which is the first step towards becoming a chartered psychologist. Please be advised that only students who graduate from the full-field and the major route will qualify fo rthe GBR and students must achieve the minimum of second-class honours in order to obtain it - this is a standard BPS condition.
  • Entry requirements Entry Requirements -a degree (level 6) in an Early Years subject or a degree (level 6) in any subject plus a level 3 qualification in an Early Years subject -a GCSE grade C in English and Maths -a current Criminal Records Bureau clearance -recent and considerable experience across whole 0-5 years age range
