Entry requirementsThis course is for school leavers aged 16-18 years. 3 GCSE passes (grade D or above) in relevant subjects; a BTEC Introductory Diploma or a related Level 1 Qualification; or related work experience.

Course description This course is for YOU! if you are interested in developing your art and design skills and learning some new techniques in specific areas of art and design. You will continue to develop core art and design skills such as drawing, colour work, design and making skills, but you will also be introduced to some of the skills needed in vocational areas such as textile design, photography, graphics, fashion design and interior and set design. This course prepares you for employment and provides a good grounding to go on to more advanced courses such as the BTEC National Diploma.
