    This course is for those who want a career in the Fashion or Textile industries. It is designed for students who feel they have a flair for fashion but need to follow a course that will give them the practical skills to enable them to gain work in these industries.

    How is the course taught:
    This Course is taught using lectures, practical demonstration and individual responses to design briefs. Students will work in a variety of classroom settings according to the disciplines being taught. A variety of field trips and gallery visits will be conducted over the year.

    Assessment:
    Assessment both formative and summative will be conducted at regular times throughout the year to assist in the successful completion of core and specialist Units.

    Course leads to:
    BTEC National Certificate /Diploma and courses in Fashion & Textles or BTEC Dipmoa in Foundation Studies.
