This short course is designed to increase awareness of health and safety within the workplace, and is designed for those working at operative or team leader level. The course develops the skills and knowledge required to effectively organise and conduct health and safety policies in the workplace within the required guidelines. The course covers the importance of a safe working environment and safety culture, looks at the responsibilities of staff to ensure compliance, the difference between hazards and risks, risk assessment and management, accident prevention and accident awareness.
