ObjectivesThe London Consortium graduate programme brings together five internationally renowned institutions: the Architectural Association School of Architecture, Birkbeck, the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), the Science Museum, and Tate.
This programme leads to the award of Master of Research after one year. It can also be the first year of the London Consortium PhD/MPhil Humanities and Cultural Studies programme. A one-year full-time taught course, it offers a specially selected programme of cultural events, plus teaching by internationally distinguished regular and visiting faculty. Core coursework is combined with personal research.
Graduates will be well qualified for the increasing range of academic, cultural and intellectual work within universities, the media and culture industries.

Five 4000-word essays, a research presentation and a dissertation of 12,000 words.
