This short course provides an introduction to the importance of workplace security, and details a range of standard operating security measures allowing staff to understand and implement workplace security procedures effectively. A range of different types of security are discussed, including physical, commercial and information security. Effective security procedures to ensure the security of premises, information and documents are introduced, as well as procedures for identifying and responding to security threats. The course also looks at the need to maintain different levels of security for different employees in the workplace.
