Comments about BA Criminology and Sociology - At the institution - London - Greater London

  • Objectives
Investigation of crime and legal transgression is as much about the underlying causes of crime as it is about legal redress. This course investigates the many causes of crime from the point of view of sociology, and the relationships between social structure, poverty, social inclusion and their putative impacts upon criminal behaviour. The course also evaluates the crime prevention, probation and legal reform. This is a stimulating and interesting course for those who want to work within the police, the probation service and within the legal and social services.
