    The entry requirements for this course are 104-120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

    IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component of writing, speaking, listening and reading or equivalent.

  • Course description
    To become a successful events manager, you'll need skills and
    knowledge in areas such as marketing for events, financial reporting,
    project planning, event bidding and consumer behaviour; all of which are
    offered by this exciting degree. You'll be capable of overseeing the
    organisation of events as diverse as product launches, fundraising,
    corporate meetings, personal gatherings (such as weddings and reunions)
    and mega-events such as the Olympic Games.
    This course will give you the opportunity to organise a real event
    with other students from your course in the second year and gain
    invaluable knowledge and experience of the events industry on a minimum
    of 30-weeks work placement in your third year. In your final year,
    you’ll have a choice of 20 options to study, allowing you to tailor your
    course to suit your interests and passions. You'll also benefit from
    guest lectures, visits to local and regional event venues and real
