For example, the findings of the Human Genome Project, which have been obtained using modern techniques of molecular biology, have changed our views on how human life is controlled. There is the potential to generate great benefits in improved healthcare provision. Applications beyond this include improvements in agriculture and the environment.

    Entry Requirements Minimum of two A2 Levels in science subjects at grade C; minimum of Advanced Vocational A level Double Award in Science at grades CC. Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
