You will be automatically enrolled on this core Games Design course which covers the practical and theoretical areas of modern game design. So, the core route is intended for specialising exclusively in the art and design aspects whereas, if you would like to study some of these processes alongside acquiring games programming technical skills and knowledge, the technical route may be more appropriate for you.At the beginning of your studies you will be enrolled in the core route automatically. If you are interested in taking the technical route instead you will be able to notify us of this during your first week at the start of the course, after a scheduled special informational session we will run to explore whether this choice is appropriate for you. You will be taken through the process of this in your induction week in more detail. We are currently applying for accreditation for this course with TIGA.
