  • Objectives
    This course will provide you with the theoretical and technical expertise you need for a wide range of careers in Music Technology. You will be studying hardware and software in theory and through practical projects, and will develop as a competent, adaptable creative and reflective technologist, able to apply innovative solutions to design problems associated with sound and music. The department has the broadest provision in the UK for the study of the technologies of music and has an excellent reputation within the music industry.
  • Entry requirements
    You should have 160 points from two A-levels in relevant subjects, such as Mathematics or a science or a numerate technology subject. All other qualifications are considered on an individual basis. Students should have a keen interest in electronic equipment and software applications for sound and music.
