  • Objectives
These programmes offer structured courses that analyse the relationship between business strategy and the ecological environment. Rather than focusing on the natural science of how pollution occurs or the technical practicalities of ameliorating it, the programmes explore how the environment has emerged as an important issue for business. They outline possible ways of developing effective strategies for addressing the business threats and opportunities posed by environmental issues.

Aimed at people from a wide range of backgrounds, these programmes are suitable for anyone who wishes to develop a deeper understanding of the key drivers of environmental policy developments in the UK and internationally. They will be particularly relevant if you are a manager with responsibility for environmental affairs in either a public or private sector organisations, or a member of a regulatory body, a member of an environmental pressure group, or if you have a general interest in ecological issues.
