Course description
BAFTA award winning Tutor Kevin Griffiths has years of experience working with stop frame animation. He has directed 3 series of The Old Bear Stories, Bob the Builder and El Nombre. He is also an accomplished puppet maker and puppeteer and an expert at building models using armatures and aluminium wire.
During the weekend course he will show you, stage by stage, how to make the character puppets (all materials included). With the wealth of knowledge he has gained from his long broadcast history he will be demonstrating techniques used by animation studios and smaller productions, as well as techniques he has developed himself to create fantastic puppets ready to animate. Our course "Stop Motion Animation" is a partner to this course.
