    The course is aimed at graduates or those with higher education qualifications who want to hone their entrepreneurial and business skills within the creative and cultural industries. Therefore, you should have an active interest in the creative and cultural industries along with the motivation and determination required to develop knowledge and experience of this exciting sector. The normal entry requirement for this course is an HE qualification to level 2/3. But other qualifications that are deemed to be equivalent to a first degree, along with any relevant professional or commercial experience, will be considered in lieu of an honours degree. Equivalent career experience is recognised through the AP(E)L system. The course is ideal for those already working in the Creative & Cultural Industries who wish to enhance their continued professional development (CPD).

    This is a 1 year part-time course focused on work-based learning that is designed to build your business skills specific to your area of practice in the creative industries. You will attend classes over seven days and three evenings throughout the course. The rest of your learning time is supported by mentors, action learning and working on your enterprise project in the workplace.

    Assessment
    You will be assessed on your practical outputs. You will build a portfolio of learning, which will include:

    -Enterprise ideas that you have generated
    -Evaluation of those ideas
    -A business plan
    -A diary which will allow you to evaluate your process and progress
