Liverpool Hope University is a thriving academic community that offers a unique environment in which to be a student. Founded in the early part of the 19th Century, our collegiate ethos provides the very best in higher education. With two beautifully crafted campuses, academic staff of the highest calibre drawn from across the world and exacting admissions standards, Liverpool Hope University may be just what you are looking for.

Our students tell us that “at Liverpool Hope I am a name not just a number”. This is true whether you choose to live on campus in the University’s own run halls or live in the vibrant surrounding areas.

As a University that concentrates on the Liberal Arts and Sciences you will find yourself part of a community of scholars, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, sharing an enthusiasm for learning and passionate about becoming responsible citizens of the world.

Although we have a 166 year history our campuses and facilities are state of the art. At our Creative Campus, in the heart of Liverpool, the Capstone Building, is home to the Centre for Music, Performance & Innovation and is the UK’s only University based Steinway School. The Creative Campus also boasts one of the finest gardens in Liverpool if not the North West.

The University’s main campus, Hope Park, is located in the southern suburbs of Liverpool just a few miles from the city centre and offers the finest learning environments you will find at any University. It also offers extensive gardens that provide a stunning environment in which to learn and live at any time of the year.

We understand that going to University is also about your success and this year 67% of our graduates achieved firsts or upper seconds. Despite the difficult economic climate in 2009 and over 90% of Liverpool Hope graduates went on to work or further study within six months of graduating.

There is no better time to become a Hope student.
