    Programme Content

    This course is focused towards research training. Participants undertake three taught units (2 compulsory and 1 optional) together with the extended research project.

    Candidates unable to complete the full Masters course may be able to leave with an interim award, Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) or Post Graduate Diploma (PG Dip). Units within our Masters portfolio can also be taken under the University’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.

    Students follow a prescribed list of units which normally include:
    -Environmental Skills, Tools and Techniques
    -Environmental Management and Risk Assessment
    -Extended Research Project

    In addition select one unit from:

    -Marine and Conservation Management
    -Biodiversity Conservation and Management
    -Pollution Management
    -Environmental Law, Governance and Corporate Responsibility
