Comments about BEd Early Years Teaching - At the institution - London - Greater London

  • Objectives
The course aims to prepare students for teaching the early years age group (3-7 years) in a range of contexts with a focus on teaching in multilingual, multicultural urban schools. Successful completion of the course will lead to recommendation to the General Teaching Council for England of Qualified Teacher Status. A key aim of the course is the development of current concepts and ideas related to children, child development and pedagogy. The course will provide reflective, active and collaborative learning opportunities that integrate theoretical principles with practical applications and enable students to reflect critically on their own practice.
