Objectives
This course addresses the need for a new category of computer specialists who will be able to understand and manipulate the different media forms (sound, video, images, text, and animation) and be able to work as development engineers in the emerging multimedia markets. It provides the theoretical and practical underpinnings needed by modern computer scientists who face a large variety of new formats, machines, operating systems and above all complicated end-user or customer requirements. Thus, the course includes options from our other computing degrees.
Entry requirements
Entry Requirements Minimum of 12 units passed at average Grade C at GCE Advanced; at least 6 units must be in relevant subjects eg Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computing; or equivalent
