Fine Art with Learning & Teaching in Higher Education MA
This innovative course offers fine art graduates the opportunity to study the subject at MA level alongside a PgCert in higher education.
A PgCert is increasingly a requirement for new teachers in further and higher education. The University has a well-established and very successful PgCert in higher education in-house.
What will you study?
Through a combination of studio project and theoretical study you will have the opportunity to:
-develop and apply critical frameworks;
-debate a range of theoretical, cultural and social issues; and
-consider a variety of approaches to communicating and publishing your own research.
You will focus on individual and collaborative practices, new technology, exhibition production and design, and a theoretical and critical programme to challenge and contextualise individual research.
