  • Objectives
Schools are increasingly being seen as centres for community activity and, as such, more demands are being made on those practitioners who support the young. This course has been designed to provide the enhanced knowledge necessary to meet these demands, and addresses the need for joined-up thinking in relation to the strategies emerging for the support of young people; eg Sure Start, Children’s Fund, Connexions and the Learning and Skills Council agenda.
