    This programme is designed to prepare students for a career as a professional electrical and electronic engineer, with the focus on innovation, analysis and development within a wide range of advanced engineering technologies.

  • Course description
    The use of microcomputers and personal computers is important in engineering systems. The programme gives students an understanding of computer hardware and software, enabling students to design and use a wide range of systems. The use of computer-based analysis and computer-aided design means that the design process, rather than a purely analytical approach, is emphasised.

    Optional Sandwich Year (Work Placement)

    Final Year

        * Individual Project

        * Group Design and Project Management
        * Two options from a range including:
